Frequently Asked Questions

          A: Certainly! Anything you feel that may make your pet feel more at home is welcomed. We do ask that you don't bring anything that you may be afraid of losing. Although we write down everything your pet arrives with on their card we can not guarantee lost or destroyed items.

           A: Yes. We have staff to tend to your pet's needs 7 days a week, 365 days of the  year. In addition, The Randall's live on the premises.

          A: No, the food we provide is called Joy Special Meal. It is a dry food 26% in protein and is mixed with Pedigree Chopped Chicken and hot water to add  palatability.

If your pet is on a prescription diet or puppy/kitten chow, or if  you just feel more comfortable with your pet's regular diet, feel free to bring your pet's food with you. There is no extra charge for what we call "Special Diets".

We feed the pets once daily in morning. Additional feedings can be done at $2.00 for each additional feeding past the morning feed. We provide all feed bowls and water bowls for your pet.

          A: Yes. The kennel has central heat in the winter and central air conditioning in the summer. During the  times that the heat or air conditioning are on, all pets are locked in the kennel and let out to their runs periodically or four times daily to get exercise and to go to the bathroom. In addition the kennel is equipped with ceiling fans and three power exhaust fans to supply fresh air exchange hourly.

          A: Yes, As long as they get along together  and don't fight over feed bowls. There is also additional savings of a $1.00 off the regular board rate for each additional pet in a dog run or kitty condo.

          A: In the event of an emergency, your pet will go to the closest veterinarian available. There are several vets in very close proximity to the kennel and several emergency clinics that are open 24 hours and on holidays. You will be charged for  any veterinary services that may need to be performed at our discretion.

           A: No. Although it is required that your pet be on leash and collar upon check in these items will be removed and returned to you after your pet is checked into the kennel. We can not be responsible for items left on or with your pet.

          A: 1). The most important item you need is proof of your pet's most recent vaccinations from your vet. All dogs are required to have proof of current Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations. All cats are required to have proof of current Rabies, and Distemper vaccinations.

               2). Any Special Diets or Medication your pet may need to receive during its stay with us.

               3). An emergency contact number  to reach you in the event that your pet is in need of  medical attention. Some vets require owner permission to proceed with medical treatments.

               4). Leash and Collar. You must have your pet on a leash and under your control at all times while on the premises.

               5). Optional items are toys, treats and bedding.
